These Banana Nut Butter Breakfast Toasts are a new favorite of ours for healthy, decadent AM meals. They go together in a matter of minutes, use only 6 ingredients, and feel like a real treat without having to feel guilty about what you’re putting into your body.
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbsp Cacao Powder
- A heaping ¼ C to ⅓ C almond butter
- 4 slices of quality bread
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 ½ tsp. Hemp Hearts
- Mix maple syrup and cacao powder together in a small bowl to make chocolate sauce.
- Toast bread.
- Assemble toasts by spreading almond butter on toast, then topping with sliced bananas. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top and sprinkle hemp hearts on to finish.
This recipe works great with any nut or seed butter. It’s perfect for those of you who love peanut butter and chocolate together!
