This smoothie is really easy to throw together and tastes amazing. Nut milk and bananas form a base that is kicked up with sesame seeds, cardamom, star anise, vanilla, and cinnamon and then sweetened with dates.
- 2 C unsweetened almond milk (or unsweetened coconut almond blend)
- 2 ripe bananas
- 8 medjool dates
- 4 green cardamom pods (seeds removed for use; pods discarded)
- 1/2 star anise
- 2 Tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- Add all ingredients to blender.
- Blend and enjoy!
