Mix up this refreshing, summer Whiskey cocktail today! Smooth whiskey gets infused with habaneros and paired with mango and lime for the perfect blend of sweet, fruity, and spicy. Try this recipe instead of your classic drink for your next party, BBQ, or get-together; just be sure to make enough for a crowd! Use Bullet, jack daniels, rye, bourbon, or my favorite Canadian whiskey, Crown, in this light, tropical mixed drink that needs only basic barware and can be made as strong as you’d like!

Habanero-Infused Whiskey with Mango and Lime

Whiskey is infused with Habanero and then mixed with mango, lime juice, and a splash of bitters.



  • 2 1/2 oz. Whiskey of choice ( I use Crown Royal)
  • thin slice from one habanero
  • 3 oz. Mango Nectar or Mango Puree
  • juice from 1/4 of a lime
  • splash of angostura bitters


  1. Prepare the habanero by cutting the top off and scraping out the seeds and membranes.
  2. Place a thin slice of habanero into whiskey and let infuse for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove habanero from whiskey and discard.
  4. Add mango, lime juice, and bitters to drink. Stir.
  5. Add ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
  6. Enjoy!


  • Make sure to use gloves when dealing with habaneros. Chile oil can be very painful if it gets on skin or in your eye!
